Father’s Day this year is on Sunday, June 15. There are so many ways to honor your dad – cards, gifts, or that gadget he really wants.
One of the best ways to honor Dad, or any man in your life who exemplifies fatherhood, is with prayer.
This year The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy have prepared two special ways to honor our fathers:
1) Have a Catholic Mass offered in honor of your father, grandpa, uncle, brother, priest or friend by filling out a hand-made Divine Mercy Mass card and sending it to him (see below); and,
2) Bring your Father (or a special intention In Memoriam) to Mass at the Divine Mercy Center on the Wednesday prior to Father’s Day.
Special Mass for Fathers
On Wednesday, June 11, our Mass intention will be for Fathers present and Fathers remembered and their intentions. Mass begins at 10:30am. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is prayed immediately after Mass.

Have Mass offered for your Dad
Whether or not you can come to the special Mass for Fathers, you can still have your Dad remembered at that Mass.
Fill out this form, and we’ll send a Mass card to your Dad to let him know that He was remembered at Mass on June 11 this year.
*Note: please consider making a donation to the Center for the costs of shipping and creating of the Mass cards. While there is no cost for Mass cards, we are very appreciative of your financial support, which allows us to provide the Mass intentions opportunity.

Prayer for Fathers:
Lord Jesus Christ, I praise you and glorify your name, in thanksgiving for who you are and the work that our Heavenly Father has accomplished in your name. Lord bless _________, who I pray for in a special way. Forgive his sins, listen to the cries of his heart, and bless him with a special measure of grace, joy, and love even as I pray, Lord. Holy Spirit stir up within him the gifts which you so freely give, and give him the grace to be the man you have created him to be. Father hear me in Jesus’ name, Amen.
