The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy & The Divine Mercy Center

The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy is a Private Association of the Christian Faithful. We are a lay ministry of the Catholic Church founded by Catherine M. Lanni and established by Cardinal Adam Maida on Easter Sunday, 2003. The Divine Mercy Center came into existence March 1st, 2006.

The Divine Mercy Center is a peaceful place of refuge, where anyone can come away from the chaos of life to a beautiful Chapel and grounds to receive prayer for healing and peace. We are a lay organization who through daily prayer, Holy Mass and Reconciliation, days of reflection, lunch ministry, Prayer Ministry formation, and Eucharistic Adoration join together as one holy family imploring God for the Mercy He promises us as we offer ourselves as instruments through which God works to heal His beloved people.

Throughout the day our trained Prayer Ministers intercede for the many prayer requests that are called in as well as those in our prayer box. They are always present in the Chapel to welcome our visitors and pray with them.
Our charism is daily devotion to Jesus The Divine Mercy through the intercession of The Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The spiritual and corporal works of mercy are a way of life for our ministry as we aspire to be a reflection of Gods love. This prepares us for the great celebration of The Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday – “where every soul who will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment” (Diary, Entry 699).

People from all over Michigan and beyond, from all walks of life, come to visit The Divine Mercy Center to experience our mission of Divine Mercy. Inspired by the many testimonials of graces, blessings and healing people have received through the Mercy of God; they are encouraged to return to their local parish communities to share this great Mercy. Together we rejoice in His love! Remembering always the words of Jesus:

“One by one and every one counts!”

Men of the Sacred Hearts

Jesus visited St. Margaret Mary and provided her with His 12 Promises. Promise #9 says: Homes that display and honor the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be blessed. In 1907, Pope Pius X requested our founder, Fr. Mateo, to bring the Home Enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus to the world.

The Holy Rosary and prayers to the Blessed Mother are said at our first visit to your home. We bring a statue of Our Lady of Fatima and a blessed image of the Sacred Heart. The family then spends time in prayer during the following week (s) and children are encouraged to lead in saying the Holy Rosary. Our return visit includes the witnessing of the family Covenant with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Enthronement ceremony. When you invite us to your home, we will supply the materials and the Sacred Heart will do the rest.

Working together for God’s Greater Glory

God’s Divine Mercy flows freely from His Most Sacred Heart…

Enthroning our homes and businesses to The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a blessing and treasure to the Heart of Jesus Christ. By acting out our faith with this practice and encouraging families to pray together, the Men of the Sacred Hearts are trailblazers for the New Evangelization today. The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy encourage you to enthrone your home and business to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Many times in homes, we encounter people in great physical or mental pain. While our visit may provide a brief relief for those seeking comfort, we soon leave with no plans to return. The Men of the Sacred Hearts endorse the Divine Mercy Center as a place of refuge where people can visit to receive for healing and comfort.
– Men of The Sacred Hearts

Lord Jesus, I am so sorry for the separation between You and me. I have blamed You for my sorrow and suffering. But Jesus, with all of my heart and soul so full of desire to know You better and to experience, really experience Your tender Mercy, I ask You to forgive me, Lord. Draw me closer to Your Sacred Heart. Grant me, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the necessary graces to sustain me and get me through my time of suffering. In turn, I graciously offer up to You all my pains and scourges for Your greater glory. I do this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
